Is Eating Organic Really Necessary?
What does they label organic really mean? It is suppose mean food produced using non genetically modified seed or without using synthetic pesticides, synthetic herbicides or synthetic fertilizers. Organic farming uses a method that even the first settlers in United States would be proud of; this method uses natural fertilizers and practicing crop rotation to improve soil quality.
Some people think the modern way of farming is better and is actually making people healthier. I guess that is true if you are one those people who think up is down. Because statistics is actually saying some thing different. For example in In America 60 percent of its citizens are diabetic or pre-diabetic, 1 out 2 men are diagnosed with cancer and chronic diseases are associated with 7 out of 10 deaths. How much this is related non organic farming?
Obviously it is very difficult to say. However, there is a strong correlation between chronic diseases and eating foods which are genetically modified and use synthetic pesticides and herbicides. Research has implicated organophosphate and glyphosate insecticides with genotoxicity this when your DNA becomes damaged. It is also associated with aggressive prostate cancer, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma a blood cancer which produces symptoms such as such as enlarged lymph nodes, fever, night sweats, weight loss, and tiredness, bone pain and chest pain.
The evidence of the correlation is so overwhelming that The World Health Organisation (WHO) found sufficient evidence to re-classify glyphosate (commonly known as Roundup) and four organophosphate pesticides (malathion, diazionon, tetrachlorvinphos and parathion) as possibly cancer causing.
So if you care about your health eating organic is something that you should give strong consideration. Unfortunately, If you wanted to eat organic for much, of the population it is cost prohibitive.

Eat non organic but organically farmed.
Not all farms are registered organic. The smaller farms might be unable to pay the registration fee to be certified. So call your locals farms tell them that you are highly sensitive to synthetic herbicides and pesticides and ask them if they use it. If not, you now have a new place shop that will not only benefit you but also your local community.
